If you are looking to entertain yourself and family members for the rest of the holidays, there are plenty of local events going on around Great Yarmouth. Below is just a small selection...
Yare Gallery: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM- Tuesday to Saturday
The Yare Gallery in Great Yarmouth (formerly the Norfolk Nelson Museum) is based in a beautiful 17th century building which showcases both local and international art. The gallery is free to visit and features six exhibitions a year. They also have their sister gallery, the 'Skippings Gallery' based on King Street in Great Yarmouth.
Great Ormesby Fete: Saturday 26th August, 10am to 10 pm
There will be plenty for the whole family to see and do with performances by Dumisani African Drumming Group, Bollywood Sparkles, Fiddlesticks Clog Dancers and a chainsaw artist! Other activities will include a dog show, a children’s ‘Kings and Queens’ fancy dress competition, and a Junior Photography and Art competition.

Hemsby Doggies Day Out and Family Fun Day: Sunday 24th September, 12pm- 5pm
Hemsby will be hosting their first dog themed event at the 'Long Beach Tent and Touring Site'. The event is free to enter and will feature a dog show, dog grooming, a play bus and plenty of craft stalls and food outlooks for the humans to take a look at!

Hirsty's Summer Mega Maze: 22nd July- 3rd September
This family friendly park is a great way to keep the whole family entertained with family quizzes, activities, a Bale Mountain, soft play, trampolines and much more! Hirsts also have a Farm Shop and Cafe based in Ormesby.
