Highlights of 2025

As 2026 approaches, I am taking the time to reflect on special events from 2025 and thought I would share some.

• We went to Disneyland Paris for my husband's Fortieth birthday and had a great time. I do not always like Disney as a brand, but they know how to make a place special!

  

  

  

  

• I attended Hard Rock Hell Spring Break 2 and met some truly lovely bands, Cats in Space were a particular highlight. I also attended the Scifi Weekender at Vauxhall and had an equally great time!

• We celebrated my thritieth birthday in Amsterdam! The botanical gardens, Cat Museum and stroopwaffle's were excellent.

  

  

• I started learning Circus Skills and can now say I actually have proper muscles. I struggle with most sports, so am pleased with this progress!

• We watched the incredible Burlesque act 'Tease' at St George's Theatre in Great Yarmouth. They were utterly fantastic to say the least, such talent.

• I made myself a Goblin headband and saw Nekrogoblikon live with two of my favourite people.

  

• I finally found my creative outlet and had my work exhibited at PrimeYarc in Great Yarmouth as part of their open exhibition 'GOT TO BE REAL'.

• Lots and lots of cat and dog cuddles, I love my furry children.

  

  

  

  
  
  
  
  

• Saw one of my personal heroes, Dame Jaqueline Wilson at a Q&A in Norwich. I almost cried, especially when she answered my question about her favourite books.

  

  

  

As a sign off, not every moment in 2025 was joyful, but it is important to take note of all the positive events and for those I am extremely grateful.

Goodness knows what next year will bring, but we will face it together ❤️
